No, I'm not mistaking "glow" for "shine." This is, in fact, a rather unorthodox class-selection question.

I've been messing around w/ classes trying to decide on a main. I was trying a Warden out, and had an "oh, wow" moment w/ Minor Florescence. I was mid-fight, glowing bright gold! It was awesome.

Do any other classes have spells that make you glow that brightly, golden or otherwise? It was cool. Thanks for any help.

Defilers can change into a form that turns them into a cloud of purple haze, with only weapons visible.

At level 20 Furies get a fun spell called Faerie Fire it adds green glowing flames around your body or the body of a group member.

At 20 (I think it was 20, maybe 30) Wizards get the Flaming Visage of Al'Kabor which covers their whole body in flames, and at 40(I think lol.. cant remember that one either) they get the same thing, but ice

Just wondering as I have a bruiser that I basically retired quite some time ago but never saw this prior to that. Is it something new? Sounds nifty.

A lot of classes get fun spells that add glows. I would say the majority of classes get something like that, but not all.

Check out the fun spells....written in italics

http://home.comcast.net/~eq2gamedata/main.html

If I am understanding the question right he/she isn't speaking of the fun spells but rather the combat arts/spells. Now from my experiences all classes have certain *cool* looking spells that give off a glow or sparklie (or combination of both) but in order to see them all you need your spell effects to be on and not just the lowest setting. Recently having upgraded my computer I now play with my spell effects on medium all around and its amazing to see the encounters. So this question really isn't that easy to answer as it depends on your settings of your computer. edited to try and fix spelling lol

An arasai character suddenly has feet and is a foot taller, while an ogre/troll is suddenly a foot shorter. I think the arasai would be especially coolwithout the footprints because you'd just be a silent mist floating from one place to the next.
