str or agi??

<p>I have been looking at posts all afternoon and see many on str/agi vs str/wis or agi/wis, but not much on str vs agi. What do you guys figure is a better stat and why?? From my other MMO experience I would say agi should be primary stat, but I get the impression str>agi. Would just like some clarification. I know these posts are regarding AA's but what should be my primarey stat on gear as well??</p>

<p>as far as gear...STR for DPS, AGI for avoidance. if you tank alot...AGI...if you DPS alot...STR...</p><p>now, on which AA is better, I personally like STR better, however i have not tried parsing the differance between the two. You'll parse better on raids with agi/wis - especially if your in the MT group with temp/dirge proc buffs. I picked up about 10-15% over str/wis. However, str/wis is going to grant you more avoidance and a couple nice debuffs. Pick your poison.

<p>Hmmm.   I've been spec'd agi/wis and potency/reach for a while now.   With good raid buffs and my dps gear on, I can parse consistently between 1700 and 2500 -- and I obviously hit the high end on multiple mob encounters if I can stay behind whatever mob is targeted.    On a long fight  (3 mins plus) with a single epic mob, dps goes below 1700.   From under Vyemm's belly (to use an example everyone can relate to), I've parsed around 1300-1500.   I've been considering changing to str/agi if and when soe changes the DW weapons.   My theory is that I could use cheldrak (sp) and sf gladius/sabre (if I get it), or some other combination.   But since I haven't been dual wielding, don't know how well this would work.</p><p>i don't have enough info to evaluate this change, or a possible change to from agi/wis to str/wis.    I am also interested by Ruen's post above.    Ruen and others:  Do you get more than the dps identified above with different builds?  Thanks.</p>

<p>and another question:  if our hate transfer is nerfed, maybe that's another reason to respec from agi/wis to str/wis.   Not sure how much the debuffs on the str line add to hate, but if the change reduces damage slightly and debuffs mob, maybe that's better for the raid as a whole.    also, it could help in soloing/small groups to have both the defensive bonuses of str plus coule.    thanks.   </p><p>also  interested in Ruen's response on this point.</p>
