EH Challenge

Heya!     My guild hasn't made it in the raid progression yet to EH but I was wondering how we fair against the NPCs that clear the levels? Just wondering if we do ok at this or not.

If we're buffed to the hilt and put in a group specifically designed to combat these ring events we do fine.

You don't even need to be buffed beyond your caster group. Just numbing cold the mobs when they spawn, and kite them. Kill the v mob first, then work on the ^^ mob. Wrath is a handy miracle to have on you in case you find yourself getting into trouble, or in case of a partial resist off numbing cold. Btw, no control effects work on those mobs (snare being the exception), so don't bother with trying to root them.

<p>Frigid gift also procs a snare so while waiting for numbing cold to refresh ( if they are still alive) you can cast it to get some more snare action.</p><p>I almost got a chance to do a challenge, but a healer had thier dog on protect and it broke the encounter  <img src="/smilies/c30b4198e0907b23b8246bdd52aa1c3c.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.  stuff happens and we moved on to clear brownies ( oh the joy).</p><p>edited because I keep forgetting I have to watch what I type here and I hate thier stupid chat filter, I would rather just change it.</p>

I just give myself a Paladin and send the tougher guy to him.  rending icicles, Cease, kill small guys, then work the big guy down.   I've done this twice and we do this good with a scout too.
