Guardian: Human or Berzerker?

<p>I'm new to EQ2, but I'm a very experienced mmporg player.</p><p>I've tried each class in the game up to level 6 or so, just getting a feel.</p><p>Guardian seems to be the truest tank class, and this has always been a class in other mmporg's I've enjoyed the most.</p><p>I'm wondering how important non str/stam/agi attributes are, in choosing between a human and a barbarian.</p><p>The difference is really noticeable in levels 1-6, the barbarian is a far superior guardian (more health, more damage), but I'm wondering if the low int and wisdom hurts magic defense down the road and end game, like being able to resist magic attacks etc, and if the str stam bonus difference dissapates later in the game.</p><p>I don't care much for dwarf for my main, so I've ruled them out.</p><p>Thanks for comments/suggestions from experienced, high lvl players.</p>

Past about level 10 race is irrelevant for any class.  The small differences in beginning stats or racial abilities get diluted and/or overshadowed by bonuses from items, spells and combat arts. Pick whatever class you like the look of best.
