<p>This is for coercers mainly FYI.</p><p>"Up to" as in, our 7th set piece increasing our spells by "up to" 50 damage (*twirls finger btw). Also, ever seen Vine Wrapped Boots? <img src="http://xs217.xs.to/xs217/07311/vinewrapped2.jpg" border="0"></p><p>So yah, here we are.  Increases spell damage by 10%...now as a Coercer around 60+% of our damage comes from Convulsions (or the spells Auspex and Spell Scourge) and then Sonic Boom and then the rest.  Basically, Vine Wrapped Boots, as well as "Up to" damage doesnt affect our main source of damage, as displayed by this screenshot. <img src="http://xs217.xs.to/xs217/07311/vinewrapped.jpg" border="0"></p><p>You can see the before and after proc and it clearly shows that it IS NOT increasing the damage of Auspex or Spell Scourge. So why do healers get +50 healing on their reactive heals if we dont get the 10% or +50damage on OUR spells!? This is clearly a bug and I hope its fixed...especially since... <b><span style="font-size: x-large; font-family: helvetica">We've been telling you for about 6 months or more!!!</span></b></p>

What I suggest you do is look at the actual damage done by the spell before and after the proc.  I think the examine window only shows permanent changes to spells, such as AA.

If you have boosts to damage when you open the window, it shows what that boost will do. The reason it's broken is because these spells are reactives, they trigger when the mob hits or casts or whatever. As such, they have a "zero cast time" and the formula to calculate the actual damage you get from "up to XX damage" buffs, breaks.
