You get 4 choices. Trust me, its nothing like apprentice 2... its much much better. YOu get this option every 10 levels, where you can select one of 4 spells to be master 2.

3) For alternate Advancement, Press L.

4) At low levels, killing mobs gives you xp quicker than questing, but at around level 20, or so, you can finish quests much quicker than the amount of mobs it would take to get the same xp reward, so it becomes much more beneficial to finish quests than grinding mobs.. not to mention more fun. However, you can still just kill massive amounts of mobs to gain xp if you wish.

5) The amount of AAs you would be missing out by not questing is way too big to pass up. So do questing if you can. Don't worry if you don't do all the quests though.

6) Press K for the knowledge book, All your spells will be there, and alot of them will be the upgrades to the older versions of the spells. If the 2 icons look exactly alike, then one of them is the upgrade.

7) you get racial abilities every certain levels. First one is at level 10. The same racial traits will always show up. By the time you are level 70, you will have em all, cept 2, so just look at the 2 you don't like, and leave em alone, and just decide on what order you want to get all your racial traits.

In game do /help. It will give you the in game handbook which will help you with alot of things. There are sites with some good guides, but I don't remember any atm.

I did think of one thing. You said that I wasn't training Apprentice 2, I was actually training master 2. The reason I suspected it was Apprentice 2 is because later when I found my class trainer and tried to buy and learn apprentice 2, summon servant, it said I alread had the skill. Does master 2 go in the spell book as apprentice 2? or do you simply not need apprentice 2 if you trained master 2.

when you upgrade spells, as in the change from Apprentice I to Adept 1 or other skill level, the new spell overwrites the old one... so that Apprentice I doesn't exist anywhere anymore, only the new spell does. And you can't overwrite a better version of a spell with a lower version, or even the same version. The game text was a bit off in how it stated it though, it should have said: you already have a similar or better version of this spell.
