Tinkered Crafting Items. Are they working?

<p>As I recall, you could equip 2 of the tinkered crafting items giving the +1 to +3% bonus to crafting skill and you would get 2 icons showing up in your spell window.</p><p>Now with 2 items equipped, only 1 icon shows up stating the bonus for 1 item. Do we only get the bonus for 1 item now? </p><p>Additionally, no change is shown in my skill level when I check the persona - skill window, instead of 353 or 356 skill, it just shows 350/350 when 2 items are equipped. When I equip items that boost focus, disruption, etc. it certainly shows up on those skills. Can anyone confirm if the tinkered items are giving ANY benefit, and if so, how much benefit?</p>

<p>From what I remember two of the same kind don't stack, so you could not use two +3% items, but you could use a +2% and a +3% one.  When I have both equipped it does show two icons on my buffs toolbar.</p>

Another example, if you have 2 bards in a group, and they have their achievement buffs up, you'll get two Don't Kill the Messenger icons but you'll only have the effects of one.

Actually... I don't remember exactly when it was, but I do remember in the patch notes shortly after EoF release that multiple tinkered crafting boost items would no longer stack - ie, that they were briefly stacking, and then fixed to no longer stack.

I have the Tinkered Eye of Agamatoo, and the Inkwell from the TS quest in Mara.  I assume those don't stack either?  The Inkwell doesn't give an icon whether alone or stacked, but always adds the Scribe skill it is supposed to.  When the Eye is equipped I always get the 3% Icon.  Am I getting the 1.1% extra from the Eye, or ???

I have the Mara tool and a tinkered tool and a quest thing that gives a % Chance of Success, and I most certainly can tell when I'm home using all three (The Pick of the Underfoot is a furniture item).  I get way more Crit Successes.
