When the LU goes up this week, if we are already doing EH... when the zone comes back up will it save our instance or do we have to start over?

You have to wait for it to actually hit the live servers before you zone in.

Right, but what I mean is, we schedule it and our last day is the update day.... will we incur a 10 day reentry or what? How is it gonna work if you have a lockout that is already set at 4 days remaining?

Don't most the GU's reset lockout timers? I remember the HoS one reset the timers across the boards.. I might just be recalling wrong though.

They might reset your lockout timer if you get a helpful GM. They will make you give back all the gear you have recieved from the instance due to the lockout they are reseting.

i.e. you can do it over, but you have to give all the loot back.

EH will become a persistant instance... meaning, it will no longer be on the list of "lockout" timers. Hence, if you do EH the day before the update, the next day you can go right back into a new instance of it, and recieve your first persistant instant timer.

I'm sorry, but I really think that if you go in before and server goes down, you are going to lose your instance and will have to wait until the next time you go in for it to actually become a persistant instance.

All pre-GU37 Emerald Halls lockout timers have been cleared. Everyone can try persistent Emerald Halls starting today!
Sadly, this is not the case Syzygy. Our guild just tried to zone in and got the "You can not enter for 3 days" message. Two new people who were not with our last guild run in EH did not appear in the list of "You can not enter" spam, so it appears timers were NOT reset, even though the UI shows it is ready.

Yeah, it wasn't reset for us either. It was reset in that it said we weren't locked out on the zone reuse timer screen, but in actuality, we couldn't zone in, and it gave the message saying how many days were left on lockout for everyone who had been on EH raid over weekend.

It's not a big deal, but just wanted to point out that it did not get reset, even though the zone reuse timer screen says it did.

Yeah, that feature turned out not to work. Sorry about that! It'll be in place for the next zone that goes persistent.

The feature he is referring too is the one where he stated the zone in timers were reset for EH. What had happen was everyones timer in the Zone Timer Window was reset but it didn't work to actually zone in. So, like in my previous post, the persistent zone for EH will work starting with the next time you go to EH.
