How long does xp debt last?

I have been playing this game long enough to realize that xp dept seems to be on a finite time scale. Normally to  make  eliminate debt you kill a few monsters until the debt has been payed. But even if you don't do anything xp debt seem to vanish by its self, I was just curious if anyone knew how long this takes?

<p>I believe it is .5 per hour, same as vitality gain.  I could be wrong, but the few times I was crafting with xp debt, that's what it seemed to be.</p>

XP debt goes away by itself, but only if you're NOT LOGGED ONTO THAT CHARACTER. The rate I have no idea, though.
