Ok... I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to get my parse above 800 consistanty and I don't think I've ever hit the 2K mark. How can I improve my parse? I'm spec'ed for STR/WIS, have Poison/Style lines maxxed. I'm wearing mostly KoS relic with a couple of pieces of EoF armor, except for the speed bracers and dps boots. My self-buffed haste is 32% and my dps mod is 26%. I think Crit % is 12. I don't have a fabled 1H yet... I'm using the 1H from Unrest. Any advice I can use to get up the parse ladder?
your one handers delay and min to max ratio suck so you are not recieving much benefit from doing the 1 hand spec. You need a 1hander with 2.0 + delay (chel draks, shard shadow axe, axe of bloodbeast are easy to get) and with items like the soulfire gladius or axe of natural order 4.0 seceond delays you would easily crit for 3K+. To put it simply your weapon is just crappy. use mastercrafted agility/strength rings. find a good weapon like chel draks shard. learn to space CA's with auto attack to get the full benefit of it since alot of swashbuckelr dps is auto attack. Also if you use ACT or someone in your guild does ask them to find your "to hit %" it could be way to low. Around 75+% shouldnt to hit % shouldnt be to bad. Group buffs like dirge skill+tombs calm+CoB make a difference as well as zerker temp 29 haste/dps buffs. Make sure you are in the optimal group possible.

For agi line w/ sailwind look for weapons that can be hasted down to a multiple of 0.8 ie Qeynos kilij gets to a 0.7-0.8 easily and can fit this line well, also weapons with a 3.0 while not a direct multiple can easily fit in to the timer for spam since its a hair under the CA times.

I have a question along this same line. Level 70, 100 AA, currently Str/Agi Reach/Style. I was Agi/Wis specced using the AVR (1.3 delay). I wanted to improve dps. I picked up an Infirmity and a Bloodspiller (both 1.6 delay), and respecced to Str/Agi. It seems my spike dps is better, but my overall dps is about the same. I don't know if it's gear or gameplay though. I got a legendary 1.6 one hander, but I can't remember the name, something claw I think it's called. Should I go back to Agi/Wis using the 1.6 claw whatever, or stay DW? I'm planning on going back to Agi/Wis once SoD is done, but I'm moving like pond water on that quest. I'm a finger waggler playing his first scout, so any input is appreciated.

<p>Last night, my guild raided Labs and I finished within the top 3, many times #1 in our parse. In this case, I was in the MA group with illusionary arms and a few other benefits. I got up to 1.9K dps fairly easily and would have done a ton more with a bard in the group.</p><p>It seems DPS is EXTREMELY subjective. I don't know how you would measure RAW dps, except soloing. Depending on what group you are in makes a HUGE difference, as I learned when I was moved down to a non-MT/non-MA group when an assassin showed up. </p><p>So I've determined that the dps scores people throw out are pretty much subjective... the best dps being the perfect group in the perfect zone.</p><p>I</p>

It also matters what order you do CAs. Obviously, the earlier you do debuffs the better, but I found that changing order of dps CAs made a big difference to

good point on order of CAs. what is your optimal order?

<p> Your DPS will also depend greatly on what other classes are in your group. I have been in a group with a Coercer and a Dirge and was doing 2000 DPS easily and in other groups I couldn't break 1300. So alot of times when you hear people talking about the huge DPS numbers they post, they are in pretty ideal groups. So don't get too discouraged, most guilds have to raid with what they have on hand at the time and don't have the luxury of being to able to set up ideal class combinations.</p><p>Callus</p>
