Hello, I want to make an Inquisitor on Nagafen. However, I also want a high elf as my race. Is it reasonably possible to betray to Neriak solo? Will the fact that I am on a PVP server make it almost impossible or just a bit more difficult? Also, for those of you who play on a PVP server, when players see a low level in Neriak I assume they realize the low level is betraying. That being known do they (Freeps) mostly leave them alone or do they make it incredibly difficult for the player? Thanks in advance.

Probably should do the Freeport citizenship first then travel to Neriak.

The only advice I can give is just accept the fact that you may well get ganked left right and center, and not let it bother you. You could get some lvl 12 mc gear and betray at 12 instead...this will enhance your survivability a bit

My level 10 templar betrayed to Neriak. It's a pain, but there's absolutely no difference going to Freeport than Neriak. Same distance. Same problems. Different citizen quests at end cities, but that's the least of your problems. This is the site you need to read first: http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page Specifically, the betrayal and citizenship quests: http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Betrayal_Timeline http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Citizenship_Timeline Follow those instructions, and you will be well prepared. You need to understand that after you leave haven, you will be passing through HIGH LEVEL areas, where the monsters will kill you with just one smack easily. You will DIE A LOT! No worries, just rezz, repair (if mender near) and continue. I highly recommend when you are ready to leave haven, to start your journey to Neriak, ask for help! Post in either /ooc or /1 and say "I'm betraying to Neriak, leaving Haven now... can one of you high level players come escort me please? You'll save me many hours!!! Thanks so much!" or something like that. Chances are, you'll find someone to help. If not, wait a few minutes, and ask again. Once you are a citizen of Neriak, you'll start the local quest lines. Learn this website, it is your friend. Has help on every quest, every mob, etc: http://eq2.allakhazam.com/ Good Luck! btw after a while at Neriak, I eventually switched my citizenship over to Freeport (I didn't care for Neriak after all lol), but that switch doesn't require another betrayal, just some simple switcheruu quests.

PvP exile is rough, you'll die alot as a player of any level can attack you. So, just shrug the deaths off and run fast

Thank you all for your replies. I don't mind dying (PVE or PVP) but I wanted to make sure it was technically doable solo. I have read the walkthroughs from EQ2I but I wasnt sure if I could complete the kill tasks. Going to start it now. Wish me luck.

i betrayed my level 10 wood elf templar from kelethin to freeport just a few days ago. you just have to be careful when you travel. the faction tasks werent hard at all, just had to not try to kill too many mobs in the missions.
