Issue with Veteran Rewards...

Hello everyone, I recently started playing Everquest 2 again after a long hiatus and decided to delete all my characters and start over anew. I deleted my main character and created one with the same name, but when I tried to claim some of the veteran rewards that were marked "one per character", it showed that it was already claimed. I think that the Veteran Rewards are tied in to character names. Is there any way for me to claim these rewards on a new character with the same name as an old one?

For assistance with issues related to those topics, please contact the In-Game Support team via the <b>/petition</b> command inside the game.  If you are unable to submit a petition ticket from your affected character, then please create a new character or log in with an existing character to submit the ticket from.  Please make sure to include information referring to the affected character and the server it is on.

I went through this recently. The problem ended up being that many of the "One Per Character" items actually have a limit. Once you've claimed the limit then it just shows that you've already claimed that item (no long shows that it ever had a limit).
