Shapeshift and weapon choice

Guys, I've been reading here about the latest changes to shapeshift... let me see if I have this straight.  It's no longer necessary to wield a sword to get the benefits of tiger form, right?  So I can choose any type of weapon I want.  I just hit 40 and I want to get a new weapon.  Thanks.

Shapeshift was broken up into three buffs; you can only have one of the three buffs up at a time and none of them have any kind of weapon requirement.  So if you want the tiger form buff, you just have to cast the tiger form buff from your abilities tab in the knowledge book. Everything else about shapeshift is the same (same forms, same bonuses attached to the forms, etc); only difference is that it's 3 different buffs now with no weapon requirements.
