Has anyone located the new quest which allows alchemist to combine lower levels of dust? Any insight would be appreciated.

What Bramwell said is correct. You're looking for Alchemist Janicia in the Fools Gold in Rivervale (she's in one of the side rooms). I was a level 70 Alchemist when I did this, so am unsure what the lowest level at which you can get the quest is. She will give you a quest which, upon completion, will give you a recipe book which you can scribe to learn the new dust combination recipes. The quest takes about 30 minutes of your time, so is not too intensive, and can be completed by any level adventurer. It requires travelling to a few different zones. The recipes require three of the previous tier dusts and some coal, which are then combined to make the next tier dust. If you make pristine, then you will also get one of the previous tier dusts returned.

It requires you to be at least level 69 Alchemist.

My alchemist is low adventure level, and had no problems with it.

Surely you know there are crafter toons in game that are low in adventure level and are purely there to craft and nothing else. What I would think odd would be for them to put the T7 tradeskill quests in the T7 zones, making it impossible for any *crafter only* character to even do them.

Definitely a good idea to keep this as a low (adventurer) level quest.

I think the quest should be moved to an NPC in EH only hailable after you kill Wuoshi. Why can't people play every aspect of the game equally?

There are safe zones in the T7 areas as well. I think that was the only original point being made. Why go to Rivervale to an area there when there are places in KoS for instance?

Its nit picking at best. Thanks for the new quest Domino, gives us something to do with all that previously unused dust collecting, well, dust in our storage. I am hoping we can leap frog combines meaning that we can take everything from lower levels and combine it all to T7 eventually...

I dont think its odd at all - bonemire is the only simi tricky one - but watch your mobs and your fine!

I did it on my 11 Ranger/70alchy this morning, had no trouble avoiding the sharks or fire worm, otherwise you can do it with no aggro problems at all. You just need to pay attention to your surroundings.

She tells my level 69 alchemist he is not experienced enough in alchemy, no quest offered.

Actually the recipes use candles of the appropriate tier, not coal.

I found the frostfin scale on the first island to the Southeast of the entry docks

So I checked the fuel costs of these distillation recipes, and (except for Scintillating Dust) it costs more to make the dust than it would to buy it on the broker! (At least on Antonia Bayle Server). So this is not a good deal except for T6-T7 conversion.
