With scouts having the ability to one second kill us, in group or out of group, what is the main role of a t7 necro in pvp besides a token vending machine? Maybe a dev could shed some light onto just why we have a snowballs chance in hell in pvp. Healers just run us out of power then kill, monks perma stun us so we cannot cast anyhting, potions help slightly but reuse timers are absurd. Tanks pretty well stun us also. Wizards can 2 shot us, b4 we can drop enough DOT dmg into them to really matter. Warlocks, insane dps, we have no fighing chance. Seriously when will the devs look into the BS they made with the necro in pvp? People claim get a group, you will live longer. WRONG!!! A ranger can dump almost 7k dmg in less than 2 seconds, unless my healer has heals on me 24-7 its not possible to heal that dps. A tank could put his buff on me to absorb the first hit, but that just makes the 2 seconds turned into 2.5 then im dead again.

The devs created necro's as a DOT based class, can one of them explain how if we die so fast in pvp, is our dot dps s'posed to matter enough for a group to even want a necro in the group? PVE its great....things seem to be working nicely. PVP must be addressed, or simply remove the class from pvp servers. You have done nothing but completely handicap the class, and it needs to be on the priority list along with the chanters classes in pvp. As it stands now the Qeynos world in t7 consists of what 90% rangers now? Seems all day and night I get the same drill, buff, run for 5 minutes in or out of group, drop dead with 6 attacks in 2 seconds. Maybe a redlight should blow up in the devs heads by now seeing how the servers are niow full of "I WIN!!!" classes and the classes that rerquire a bit of skill are diminishing to nothing. And do not try to compare t1-6 with a t7 necro....there is no comparison in pvp. When a lvl 61 ranger can kill a fully fabled/legendary EOF necro in less than 2 seconds, you've broken something.

I have a T7 ranger, and there is one (but only one) necro on the server which is green to me and yet I hate fighting with him cause it's about 50/50 chance. He clearly has a ranger alt cause he knows all my weakness (it is impossible to jump him EVER, he never stays in the LOS hiding behind stuff, always sicks pet on me if I climb some unreachable location, rushes into melee range when he gets a chance, fears and lifeburns me to death).

Other necroses on the server suck so much that I didn't use to think a second before jumping a slightly red one. Don't want to sound like a jerk, but all you whiners need L2P and learn this game really hard if you want to win. I myself played most of the classes in this game at least to level 30, this does give me HUGE advantage over everyone else in the game before T5 no matter what class I play and what class is my enemy. But as soon as I cross T5, I start too loose because of classes getting new abilities in T5 which I did not know about. But I die and I learn.

A necro... running out of power? Dude, necro's have more power than all other classes combined. If you are talking about outlasting someone when it comes to power, no one can do it better than a necro. I agree with the above poster... the OP needs to gain a bit more skills in the PvP department.

Where did the OP mention that he is running out of power ? And a ranger telling Necros L2P mentioning that there is only one Necro on the server who even has a slight chance against him is ridiculous. Anyway, to the OP: - Necros are very hard to play in PvP. You want easy PvP -> wrong class. - Never remain in one location for more than 10 seconds. Keep moving, otherwise you are dead - Avoid places with lots of people (scouts) like SS, KoS - Get everything that helps you to survive including equipment with stun/fear procs etc., ward procs - choose your AA lines accordingly (lifeburn is must, undead tide maybe, tabk pet aa's etc) - Always use see stealth totems. - Always hide behind obstacles. Never stand on a plain area. - Get eyes in your back - In fight forget our dots. Send in pet, use Lifeburn, ABate Life, Undead Tide and important fear, stun. Root is more or less useless imo - Rest of the fight try to get out of line of sigth. Avoid incoming damage at all costs. But even if you do all this and have the skill to do those things at the right time you still will not be as successfull as other classes and you will [Removed for Content] yourself for Raids too.

If a necro lower lvl than you is owning you as a ranger, you must be terrible. But I also noticed you talkin about a possible RED necro...this leaves me to beleive your not even a 70 ranger, so lvl up then come here and try to BS people.

BTW lifeburn only does 60% dmg IF it goes thru full duration. Never happens being a 5 seconds cast yet we die in under 2 seconds.

I use totems, and all the anti stun/stifle potions. Raid buffed my int is 991 with a troub proc. My resists all over 5k, still nothing helps.

Also have the perceptor's command maxxed, but seems to not work in pvp, even tested in arena and friends claimed it never taunted them off ever. I have master undead tide, and the 2 AA's into it to add 2 more minions. If I die to a ranger in less than 2 seconds how does that spell even get casted?

Imagine what that output does to a a mage in or out of a group. Now back on subject, this was a post for the devs to get some feedback on the necro class's status in pvp, and yet again another gorup of scared rangers have to throw in their input, yet you are the #1 class in game hands down. Sorry there isn't a 9k nuke u guys get to make it all that much faster....2 seconds isn't enough for you. Grow some skill, then have a viable arguement that necro's don't need buffing.

As if we are seriously trying to nerf them, yet the whole thing boils down to us trying to get our class buffed enough to last vs an ooponent. Funny how every other class ive mentioned noone has been an argument fueling class like these rangers. Its ok though, ive gotten my ratios up a bit again, and yes its vs a few rangers who simply run like the wimps they are when someone gets the upper hand. Truth still remains rangers = push 2 buttons, pat self on back...no skill required...will always be that way, and they can sit here in the forums adn make fraps videos left and right, nothing shown requires any form of skill, so this explains the mentality of over 99% of the people who play this class in pvp. Sadly this is also the LAZY generation who will be running the world one day.....scary?
