<p>Why are weapons showing One-Handed (type) instead of Dual Wield (type) in tool tip?</p><p>Don't know when this went into effect on test, I'm new to the server, but as a new player how am I to know what weapons can be dual wielded?</p>
<p>It is a change to the dual wield mechanic. All one handed weapons can be dual wielded now on test (and eventually on live when they work out the kinks).</p>

I remember buying 2 tin short swords for my fury when I first started playing, because she could use it and it was dual wield tagged but the second one was a waste of money of course cause furys can't DW. <img src="/smilies/2786c5c8e1a8be796fb2f726cca5a0fe.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Since you're new to the game and these class category labels may not yet be meaningful to you (or some other new players), the classes that can dual wield are: berserker, guardian (= warrior) monk, bruiser (= brawler) ranger, assassin (= predator) swashbuckler, brigand (= rogue) dirge, troubador (= bard) I would caution you though that if you're an inexperienced player, Test is probably not the best place to live. The ideal for Test is that you already know the game well, so you can evaluate how upcoming rules changes and new content works compared to what's on the Live servers. Also, the low population on Test can make it more difficult to find groups and find items on the broker. There are many helpful, friendly players on the Test server, but it can still be difficult to find a group to work on some quest you want to get done.

When we get new programmers we like to put them on testing. This does three things, it allows the tester to get familiar with the game. and second it allows us to find things that we miss because we have never tried what that person has tried. Third, It also allows us to find things that are confusing to new players.
