<p>Hi everyone </p><p> To SOE - please can you review how many items you are putting Divine resists on</p><p> I have been talking to a lot of people in game who are generally L70 and we have all be an agreeing an laughing about how high our divine resist is and often in a group it goes up to over 8000 or even higher in some cases</p><p> I think this needs to be looked at - Its hard enough playing a paladin - esepcially in PVP wihout everyone you run into having their divine resist ridiculously high which is what pallies do damage with mainly</p><p> PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can the amount of items with divine resist on be levelled out so us pallies at least have chance </p><p> I hit someone with smite evil the other day which is supposed to be my highest damage attack and is also an attack that cannot be outright resisted and it did just over 300 damage - who cares if it cant be outright resisted if peoples divine resist is so high it hardly does any damage to them anyway</p><p> Sort it out SOE </p><p> A disgruntled Paladin</p><p> Any other pallies out there who agree please back me on this - Maybe if we make enough noise about it we might actually get something done in an update...... With the eof combat changes all resists go way up, and you really need it to go way up in order to raid end game zones. You should be able to get any resist to 10k-11k pretty easily not just divine.

You should be able to get any resist to 10k-11k pretty easily not just divine. </blockquote> This pretty much sums it up, and for one, I am glad they are adding a decent quantity of resists to raid acquired fabled gear, since that was one area that KoS raid gear was greatly lacking in. PvE and PvP arent necessarily a complimentary combination in many areas, and to me this just sounds like an issue that is affecting your PvP play on a PvP server, and really has no bearing on balance on the PvE scene. With that in mind, i guess it wouldnt be too hard to alter the PvP rulesets to accomodate such changes if they were warranted, so long as it had no impact on the PvE gameplay =P
I wish they'd just do away with 7 resists and merge them into 3 (arcane, elemental, noxious). They have the cure potions designed that way, instead of making us carry around 7 individual types of cure potions.
