So im thinking of starting eq2 again.. ive gotten to 20 a couple years back but i would like to start over but im not sure where to start and i dont have any friends into the game. So i guess im looking for some lowbies or people who also are trying to start over, to play with maybe start a guild or join one where i can group with people my level. I played world of warcarft a lot but i need a break from it and i was very much into the first everquest. I cant remember why i stopped playing eq2 but something made me install the game heh.

So, anyone else starting over?

I am pritty sure that if you would post this on the server boards of the server where you would like to start you will have more chance of usefull replies

Asking for friends has always been odd to me. All the friends I've made in-game have always happened just by grouping and then clicking with one or 2 people. Then I'd run into them the next day and we'd quest again, and eventually we become friends and constant quest companions. You just have to play with all sorts of people before you click with anyone. I don't think you can just ask people to be your friend. And like the last person said, pick a server you want to start on and you'll probably have better luck.

You don't need to post asking if anyone is starting over....I mean do you think only a couple hundred people play this game? There are TONS of new toons being made every day, I've rolled new toons just recently and there are people everywhere at the low levels.

The Antonia Bayle server is very popular (I'm on it too). I'd suggest selecting that server. Lots of active guilds to choose from. Even though it's a role play server, I'd say less than half the people on it actually RP. Not all the guilds there require RP, if thats not your cup of tea.

I recommend the Antonia Bayle server. High population, lots of new blood (especially in Darklight Woods and Greater Faydark, but still not bad in either Freeport or Qeynos, either), and plenty of friendly guilds.
