Patching?

I bought EQ2 yesterday and played long enough to get to level 10. I got home from work today and was going to hop on but suddenly I have a 20 hour patch. Anyone know where this patch came from? Or perhaps a way to get around it <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>There hasn't been a big update since yesterday so my guess is its downloading the optional content (stuff like voiceovers, neriak etc)</p><p>What you can try is before you press the big play button, click on preferences and make sure the settings are set to 'download while I play', and see what happens. If that doesn't fix it then i have no idea.</p>
