Where are all the shinies in greater faydark?

<p>I created a fae today and I was running the newbie quests. I noticed something odd.. no shinies at all in the newbie zone. Why?</p><p>I am a shiny collecting fool and my poor fae has none. </p>

<p>I created a Gnome last night in Kelethin and so far have only collected 2 or 3 shinies in the area under Kelethin and around Sapling Spur Outpost.  I'm not sure if you are referring to the entire GFaydark zone or just the Nusery area where you gain your first few levels before heading out to the larger part of the zone where Kelethin is located.  If you're talking about the Nursery I don't recall finding any shinies there, maybe 1.  Either way, I agree that they are few and far between in the whole zone because I never find any when I'm running to New Tunaria or LFay with my 70 main.</p>

All EoF Zones have less Shinies than old world zones. BUT EoF shines are worth more, if you get one of the rare ones for the expert collection quest you'll be able to sell it from 50 gold to a couple plat.

<p>The newer EoF zones also tend to have more players travelling through them, and therefore more people to pick up shinies.</p><p>The area near the druid ring tends to be popular in most zones for shiny spawns - especially Greater Faydark, Steamfont and the Commonlands.</p>

<p>It's funny because in my experience all the new zones have substantially *more* collection items than the old ones.  And there should be items in the Fae newbie area, I've gotten several there.  As a matter of fact I remember my first character actually found two goliath beetles during his time in the newbie are (sell for 1-5 plat each).</p><p> Zones like Nektulos and the Commonlands are very sparse in with glowies, but others like Darklight Wood have them every two feet.</p>

I find that in GFay and BBM both, I find shinies very often, but only in certain areas.  The only zone in that area that I have had trouble finding them in is LFay, but even there, I find plenty more than I can ever find in Antonica
