With all the changes upcoming in LU37-38, an old  idea came to mind... Why not have a possibility to transmute an item into an adornment that would have all the same stats/characteristics as the initial item so you then could apply it to another item of the same type... ? Eg : A Mage could make an adornment out of a Necromantic Orb of the Death Revealer (20int, 80pow, Very nice Damage and Power proc) and apply it to Claymore reward shield (Arm of Mithaniel) that mages rather never equip because Fitz shield is better... Now Im sure everyone could agree that those 2 items combined would result in a VERY powerful and nice item, like such a quest reward is supposed to be ! Overpowering, i don't think so, if there would be a limit of 1 such adornment per character equipped at a time. Also, making the adornment would consume the item transformed into the special adornment, thus having the player have to choose wisely before

Let us see: To make a fabled adornment you need a mana vial. The chance to get a mana vial from a fabled item is about 15-20%. The other % will yield enough infusion for the adornment. You still need some powders / fragments. Overall you have to transmute ~5 fabled and 10-15 treasured items to make a single fabled adornment. And such fabled adornment is much worse then the adornment you suggested. To balance you idea the success chance has to be under 5%. You might get a powder on a failure.

Think outside the box, i don't care bout the mechanics of it, just the end result here.. For discussion sake, lets have it require a "pile o play-doh" and an item to imprint on it... With max transmuting skill item+play-doh = uber adorn... Think of that play doh would be a blank substrate for the adorn, like a piece of paper to copy text on... Now, whether or not that "pile o play-doh" is dropped from uber_raid_mob_01 or crafted by maxxed Alchemist_dood_3239, i don't mind either. I posted an idea, not an how to implement thing
