Shimering, glimering and such dusts?

How can I make these things?  An advanced book?  I am at a loss as I know this isn't a mat you can harvest.  Please explain, thanks.

Dusts are a by-product of making adept IIIs.  If you make an adept III to the 4th line of success, you will get 2 dusts.  If you make one to only the second or third line of success, you will get 1 dust.  One line of success will produce no dusts.  Adept IIIs are made by any scholar: jeweler, sage, or alchemist.  Dusts are only used in making rare potions and poisons.
