I'm a returning player to EQ2. I haven't played in about 2 months. I really do like this game but I think I ended up choosing the wrong class to be when I first began. The class I started out with was a Paladin (Currently in the high 30's). The Paladin is fun to play but I quit over how hard it was to solo with him (I was duoing with a friend who was a Wizard though he stopped playing and I kept playing). I now want to start a new character. To be get back into the game and I bought EoF to help me with that. I've been doing some research and I've found that the Druids are a fairly good soloing class and it can be a good group class since it heals. Each of which I enjoy. Mostly from playing the Cleric from VG during the beta it was quite a fun class I could solo, tank, and be a healer. The question that is comes down to is that I want to be a druid but which one a Fury or Warden? I am looking to solo more then grouping but I want to start grouping more. I haven't done that a lot in this game. Thanks for the help in advance .

Is you're truly going to solo more then the Fury is for you. Our damage output plus mitigation tools is such that all solo content is a breeze for a competent character and some heroic content is as well. However, there are a lot of us running around because Furies are so popular so grouping might not be as easy unless you're on a server with a low healer population.

I agree, out of all the classes I have played, the Fury is the best. And at 70, I am always getting tells wanting to know I want to group or raid.

Loque 70th Fury

Kithicor

Yeah after going through I guess I'm going to stay Fury. If I don't like it I can always switch to the warden in the long run. Thanks for the help. Any recommendations on AA tree for me to start out with. I was either thinking of doing melee or nukes.

IMO you should definitely go nukes over melee. Fury melee, even with full STR tree, isn't even close to matching up to the power of our nukes. The two lines I would recommend first for a solo Fury would be the INT line in the Druid tree for spell crits and Infusion, and the Vortex line (far right) in the Fury tree for faster nukes and of course Energy Vortex.

Fury, Fury, Fury. I'm 49 and I sometimes solo in Cazic Thule, killing 45-47^^^. Yeah, fury.

Btw, I have the energy vortex maxed out in the EoF and 4-4-8 in the druid int line for max crit proc.
