Auto Attack ?

<p>Ok i know i am a noob before anyone can say it!!! </p><p>Heres my problem i am having a real tough time parse good in raids by this i mean normally zonewide is 640dps:hunf: and yes i know this is horrible and should be much higher. currently i am 70sk and i have 98aa points i have decent gear but not the greatest. my aa spec  is as follows str 4-8-8-4-2 and int 8-8-8 and reavers and such i guess my real question isi have been told thats u should auto attack between spells/ca's (news to me) i always just spammed away at my attacks hoping to get higher(figured thats how it's done) apparently not soo.....</p><p>How do i use my auto attack inbetween attacks to up my dps and is there a certain order to cast spells/ca's? This something i was not awhare of and i really could use this advice.</p>

I was having the same problem then a guildy simply said " Don't queue anything up" i.e let the current ca/spell complete before you hit the key for another, that should give you enough time to get a hit or two in

This something i was not awhare of and i really could use this advice.</p></blockquote>First of all, change your INT to 4-8-8, there is no reason to have 8 points in raw stat - it is a waste of achievements. Secondly, wait 1.5 seconds between the ending of a spell and the time you hit another. Slow delay weapon is key.

Depends on what weapon you use, and the amount of +haste you have. I mostly use Villucidae's Sword of Shielding, 3.0 sec delay, which gives me enough time to hit 2 CAs in-between 2 auto-attacks, if i don't have an illusionist in my group. Gungnir -- 70 Guardian

<p>For about 3-4 runs now in Labs I've been ranging 850-1000 zone wide. Something that has helped me alot is by turning off the "queue button" feature so this insures that my auto attack is going off. Ive checked my parses and my auto attack adverages between 17-21% of my damage in the zone so there is truth to getting a swing between spells.</p><p> BTW- Its nice to show up in the top 5 on the zone parse  and 1st for the fighters</p>

There is a tiny pause between queued CAs/Spells where auto attack will go off, even with the feature on. Might be more related to you being more conscious of the delays and timing them well.

Wait after you cast a spell for an Auto Attack? hmm... I queue everything and rarely ever a spell is not getting set off but yet I still out parse my groups / raids at lvl 52.
