Ok, I just started a brand new guild and within 1 day we have already attained level 10 which is awesome! The problem I am having is are there any special guild commands? Where can I find information on claiming guild rewards? I am trying to recruit to the guild without spamming yet, my guild does not show in the list of guilds looking for more. Is there a particular level at which one needs to be before this appears? I have checked boxes, filled in information, etc.

Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated! My husband and I have been sitting here for hours scouring the forums looking for information.

Thank you

I'm not even going to ask how a new player started a new guild and got it to level 10 in one day. As for your questions, there are no guild rewards that can be claimed persay, that I know of. The rewards come in the form of being able to purchase certain items with status. Horses, better housing, furniture, that kind of thing. Which guilds show up in the 'guild looking for more' page is determined by the number of accounts a guild has, I believe. And yes, it does suck for new guilds and old guilds trying to rebuild.

I think the devs said at some point the guild recruiting tool was going to get another look, but who knows when they will get the chance to do that.

Until then an option would be to post in the server forums for the server you are on. Give a brief description of your guild, any special rules you have, guild level and such. Also put in which classes/levels you are aiming to get (if you want something specific).

Oh, we're not new players Just new to having a guild... We both have 2 level 70's characters so, we just turned guild status tokens and spent the whole day doing level 70 writs.

Thank you so much! What you said makes sense, I guess I have some foot to do, LOL

>>>Where can I find information on claiming guild rewards?<<< The "rewards" for guilds come in the ability to buy things that non-guildmembers (and guilds with lower levels) cannot. - houses and apartments - mounts (horses and carpets): visit the horse merchant and carpet merchant (in SQ in Qeynos, not sure where for other cities) to see what is available - City Merchant: in most of the main city zones, there is an NPC called the City Merchant that has a number of items for sale, many/most of which require a certain guild level in order to purchase. For example, a member of a level 25 guild can buy Elaborate tradeskill stations which would allow him to do tradeskilling in his home (the lower level ones don't allow you to make pristine items).

Thank you all for your input! It was greatly appreciated... I'm still really baffled as to why we are not on the "Guilds LFM" roster. We have 6 accounts, level 16 and even have our first cloak. All the recruiters have their tags up, etc. I'd swear we are missing something but have no clue as to what! It's really difficult to recruit to a guild if no one knows about us and I absolutely refuse to spam the chat channel as everyone seems to be on a witch hunt for spammers. Sony has really done a bad job of making it easier to find this information without having to take up others time answering what could be a very silly question. Any suggestions of what I might be doing wrong? I've posted on other sites, even have my last name as Guild'Recruiter but I really want to be on the Guilds LFM page.

Kindest regards!

Honestly, you're not doing anything wrong. The guild recruitment tool just doesn't show enough guilds unfortunately. While sixteen accounts is a decent amount the larger guilds out there usually have hundreds of accounts and are permanently recruiting.

Ahhh, ok... Well, that doesn't seem very fair to those who are trying to get a few more members.. Thank you very much for that information, great appreciated!

Cheers!

The guild recruitment tool drove me nuts. I tried to figure out what controlled it, how my guild would get on it, consistently watched me get bump off when larger guild got on. The guild tool is rather frustrating to new guild and their leaders. However, once you realize this is not going to actually help you in the beginning, you will save some hair pulling and teeth grinding. My biggest piece of advice is to actually speak to non-guilded players, as in actually real recruitment. If you wait for the Recruitment tool to work for you, you might be old and gray before you achieve what you want to. I do not mean spamming the Islands or blind invites. But once you get more members (as in accounts), your guild will move up and surpass those that have that dread "Not Recruiting At This Time". If I can help answer any questions, just let me know.

I posted this under someones elses thread.....easier than retyping. OMG! Thanks so much for that answer! Now why didn't a representative tell me all that yesterday before having me delete all kinds of files and spend 2 hours redownloading!?! That is the answer I was seeking!
