Achievement experience

I have EQ2 and am waiting for my Echoes of Faedyr CDs to arrive from amazon.com. I started on the trial and was earning achievement exp, and I even spent two of my points, but then I installed EQ2 and my Achievements tab disappeared. My question is, am I still silently earning exp for achievements I just can't spend yet, or are the rare finds I'm making going to waste right now?

If you only got the original game, you will not have access to the Achievement points, since those is linked to the expansions. You will not gain any achievement experience when your account don't have the expansions. Sorry. What happens to your already gained points, I have no idea. Never seen this type issue. Let us know when you get the EoF CD's <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I'm not sure how you managed to earn achievement xp while playing the trial, achievement xp does not begin until level 10... I didn't think it was possible to level that high on the trial? At any rate, if you bought and installed the EoF box, and are not earning achievement xp, the only reason I can think of is that your character is not yet level 10. Can you even bring up the window for it (L)?

Hard to say what's going to happen.  It's possible that when you install EoF, those points will reappear.  It's also possible that they will be gone. I do know that in cases where a person goes from Station Access account to Basic account and back to Station Access, the extra character slots will still be there.  All your character info is stored on SOE's servers, not your computer. My gut feeling is that when you install EoF, your points will reappear.  However, you will not be earning any AP at all until you install the expansions.

The downloadable trials dont let you get passed level 10- but you can still earn AAs at lvl 10 itself <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Also, there is no level limit on the buddy key trial <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
