For an address in the continental United States I am presented with this when trying to checkout::::

Pre-order Note: The applicable shipping fees listed are accurate at the time of order, but are subject to change and may vary slightly based on the date your product is shipped. UK Royal Mail - $4.90

Orders will be processed as soon as reasonably practicable to do so, but please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery after processing. Delivery times are from the date the order is shipped. Pre-order note: Please refer to the product description page for the most current product release and processing dates.

For shipments outside the United States, additional Customs import duties, taxes and/or related shipper's administrative/brokerage fees charged by the shipper may be applicable in the recipient country. The party receiving the shipment is responsible for paying any such Customs duties, taxes and/or related fees. In addition to the fees described above, if you are a resident of an European Union country, you will also be charged a VAT tax equal to 17.5% of the applicable fee on applicable products.

USPS and UK Royal Mail are the only shipping method available for Military and P.O. Box addresses. Please click your browser back button to modify your address if you see another shipping method and are delivering to a Military or P.O. Box address. Note: your country code must be listed as United States in order for these shipping methods to appear correctly.

The magazine is actually being published by a European company so it is sent royal mail. That is correct but it is not any more expensivce to anyone in the US then in Europe etc.

I would suggest then that you remove the "For shipments outside the United States" language then if it's actually shipping from the UK....

No those legalities need to be in there... yes the company overseeing the Magazine print is overseas but its still a product coming from SOE who is a US based company.

I don't care what amount of legalese you are required to show on the shipping page. To the customer trying to make a purchase, this message is confusing and amounts to a case of really bad service. After messing with my shipping address for 10 minutes, I had search the forums to find the answer just like this person did, and who knows how many others just gave up!

What's more, I made several attempts to make other purchases from the station store today, and I kept receiving a message saying that my shopping cart is out-of-order and to try again later. Does anything work on the store!?! Thankfully, for most things, we still have retail.

That specific issue is being discussed pretty heavily in THIS thread. If there is something actually erroring out or not allowing you to purchase at all let me know and I can track it down but the folks in my section don't have creative control over the legal parts. For any comments/suggestions or concerns refer to that thread

Any time I try to put in APO as an address it tells me that it won't ship to the United States. I get the error: The items you have selected cannot be shipped to United States: Enter a new Shipping Address
