The whole give a class something for a few months, then take it away slowly just so you can offer it again further down the line is getting VERY old in this game. I am all for class balance but at some point the developers in charge of game mechanics/balance have to realise that you are doing nothing but annoying the community. Lets give a example here: Double Arrow: Reduced ranged doubleattack bonus from 10% to 8%. 2% is nothing, but thats not the problem. The problem is yet again after months of having the AA's, all of a sudden 2% is a problem for some developer. You give someone something for a few months and they get used to it, they stride to work towards something and then it gets taken away only to be replaced more than likely further down the line by something else. The overall progress of the character hasnt changed at all, all thats happening is you give, you take, you offer again in somekind of new reward, where's the actual progress? My character is NOT progressing, and that is very frustrating for anyone playing a MMO, these games are built on improving your character, and the whole smoke and mirrors approach from the developers is getting VERY old. Ranger - Reconnoiter: Reduced percentage I am trying not to be rude here, but honestly changes like this really make me wonder if the developers truelly understand the game they are developing. The hardcore players know their class inside out, in my mind far more than a developer and a change like this just raises so many alarm bells in my head for the ranger class its not even funny. The vast majority of the non combat changes I LOVE, they make perfect sense and I think the developers have made amazing changes to the game ever since EOF came out, but some of these combat changes reak of unthought out pre EOF style developer changes. I've actually pretty much given up on playing DPS classes as the shear callous way in which they seem to be treated gets very old, very quickly.
