Are Illusionists better at Solo PvP than Coercers?

I think so. Both are nice but illy's crowd control really owns coercer and that's a good thing in pvp. Sometimes if I get lucky I can kill up to 3 ppl at once or so depending on classes and resists, and weather or not they all come at once focus firing heh. But then again I've seen coercers do the same thing.

All i can say is Spellshield.... OWNS PVP.... Nothing better than reflecting HT back at a SK. Fussion back at a wizard. Or a swarm pet back at a mage. I think that our pet's CC is not included in the pvp cc rules either. meaning if a person is immune to stun or root our pets might be able to root/stun them still (not entirely sure of this either as i dont play PVP but heard this).

I was just stating what i have heard or experienced in duels. That mage didnt know what hit him when his swarm pet started stunning and beating his [Removed for Content] aah the fun the fun. Also a little benefit of mez on the run helps (dont remember if coercers can mez on run or not)

<p>On topic, my main is Illusionist but I love playing coercer twink (both on PVP server).</p><p>These are totally different classes, no matter they are of the same archetype.</p><p>Definitely worth leveling both to 70.</p>

Can anyone comment on how Illu is better than Coercer in PvP.    Illu don't SEEM to be able to do more damage to quickly take someone down like reactives can in solo PvP.    What am I missing?
