Bar none, best Game Update to date. Kudos on fixing tons of problems and overall making the game more enjoyable than any previous update i've been around to witness. Great job.

Was so happy about every change in the notes until I got down to the Luck of the Dirge nerf. Totally unnecessary, last thing we need right now is having our group buffs lowered. Nice to give us "normal" players a chance to do EH anyway

Anyone else notice they snuck back in the aggro nerfs that they pulled from guy 36 that we all hated.

I just wanted to say that I am impressed with all the changes and the increased effort to improve this game since the release of EOF. I think the GU 37 changes fix a lot of things that have been problems for a long time. I can't wait to see what you did with the map changes in the future. I hope it has all the things that I have asked for in the past. I have one last thing on my list that needs to be addressed. Levitation! It is the only thing on my list that has not been fixed. I would think with the capabilities of the Fae, you should be able to extend that to a spell to do levitation. I know the trickiest part about this would be how to handle the mechanics over water but I have all the faith that you guys can figure it out. The one thing that would make this game much better is community type puzzles. Create quests that the community can get together and figure out what the solution is to them. There was a big effort to figure out how to unlock the Frogloks before they where actually added. I would also say continue to add new abilities to the game. Add traps to dungeons that scout (mage with spells) classes have to find and disarm. Give us all more unique abilities such as this. Don't forget the other races. The unique abilities of the fae are nice but, I look forward to having other cool abilities for the other races.

I am reading over the update notes and just keep being impressed. Kudos to all the people at Sony who have contributed to this update and implemented many wonderful changes that people in the community have requested. Very well done!

While I agree it would be nice to have some way for other races to get that ability the Fae glide is mostly jsut slow fall; it is hardly levitation. The bigger problem with levitation is the additional textures they would have to add in to make sure every zone has coverage when viewed from anywhere on the z access. The way it is now if you climbed up somewhere high and then levitated across the zone at that altitude you would see a lot of holes in the world since it was never designed to be viewed from that high up.

I especially like where they "fixed" the ability of tanks to hold aggro with all the scout hate reductions. Yes there are some decent things in this update, but it's balanced with some truely horrible things. At best, this update gets a C-. Without a bell curve, I'd give it an F.

Very nicely done SoE, im 99% happy with all the changes but for one thing... and that thing is a real kick in the nutz... Manaburn damage/power ratio reduced from 5/1 to 4/1 is a 20% NERF ! This one is going to irritate quite a lot of wizards, seriously need to rethink this one because as with that change, no raid wiz will keep that manaburn spec over Fire-Ice spec for pure DPS build (Manaburn was already slightly behind...) If a nerf is required to that spell for balancing purposes, may i suggest increasing the recast by 20% instead ???

Another nerf GU. They nerf two main aspects of Dirges: our aggro buff and the group AA buff. I could live without another batch of nerfs. SOE nerfs what's good and improves spells that are so fundamentally useless that no matter how much you improve their reuse timer or whatever they'll still be useless. Funny that the usual suspects get the most improvements to their AAs. Fairness isn't a strength of SOE devs, is it?

I'm LOVING this update!!! The Three Keys books, FIXED! I can FINALLY finish the third one I've been sitting on for ages because only two roaming dead spawn in the entire zone and you have to kill at least 20.. ALL characters can sell on the broker!!! OMG OMG OMG!!! No more having to shift items to a seller, they all can be one! Griffon towers and horse stables! Thank the Fates! APs no longer bound to a particular tree on respec. o/ Some utility Tinkered items are no longer NO TRADE!!! /dance Item repurchasing off vendors! YAY for being able to get back that item you just accidentally vendored in an inventory clearing! /doestherobot! I can turn off the intro movie! Wooo! Alt appearance hairstyles, for Human Males... Hmm, it's good but I HOPE this is the beginning for ALL races to be able to have those hairstyles available in regular models. Only thing left I can think of that I want for regular character models aesthetically are BELLY BUTTONS! Give me a belly button and I can die a happy woman! I won't comment on the agro etc changes until I experience them myself.

yeah alot of nice things, but again soe managed to put in ALOT of nerfs sneak and well not so sneaky few examples ALL hate managers got nerfed in one way or another (exccept for the pallies) Dirges got nerfed (like they really needed it =/) Alot of nice but useless aa line changes in eof, yeah it makes them more attractive but since the others are pretty much required/far better regardless of the changes they will (hardly) have any effect Removal of a number of carpenter recipes (altho they get new ones, so guess that evens out) Manaburn got nerfed (yeah was really needed, gg devs =/)

This will help the people who feel that several of their trees are useless due to being on a pvp/pve server or their role in raids, etc. Also means pvp'ers can choose dps spec's AND pvp spec's.
Hmmmm? I was under the impression that if you were to have 50 in one tree and 20 in another, you would be able to take from the full tree and stick points in the non-filled tree. I really doubt we will be able to have 100 points in a single tree.

What do you mean, "fae style levitation"? Do you mean how they hover off the ground? That's not levitation, that's just part of their model make-up. If they were truly levitating they wouldn't come back down with you jumped. Heck, they wouldn't even be able to jump. If you mean their glide, we can already do that with the stilt boots. Don't need a spell that does the same thing.

I agree that this is a very good update. Lots of very good things in here. >Every character can sell! Woot for the alt-aholics! >Respecs to both trees at once. Woot for the experimenters! >Minor changes to many aa in an effort to balance out the benefits of otherwise "mandatory" trees. Woot for diversity! >Hate changes! Woot for making the game a bit more challenging! I appreciate that the devs are constantly looking to make this a better game for everyone involved. Except Rangers. Screw them, sneaky bastages. Ooooo how I hate them. But then I recognize I am biased against them, so maybe my opinion on that one class should be ignored. Majo, 59 Solo Guard of Venekor and Ranger-Bait.

Well... in making other classes acctually needed some of the more powerful classes must take some hits in order to make them all balanced... Otherwise everyone will just play the classes that are already leet, this way there will be no leet class so everyone can play in balance which is the way it should be.

Well... I guess what I meant was in the raid situation. Because monks at the moment can be replaced with a class that does a specific job... Monks are awesome to solo, but I dont want to just solo all the time, come on this is a MMORPG if I wanted to solo all the time I would play morrowind... which I dont want to do. Even in groups I see Plate tanks will always be better tanks I know this and scouts will always do more DPS, but whats left for the monk... Unless you are one of the lucky ones that finds a raid guild that acctually brings you along you aren't gonna be able to parse high enough to be considered DPS. So they need to make monks able to give something back to the group other then the one heal and weak attack speed buff. And with the Update on the Test server it looks like they acctually listened and are giving the monks more utilities and hate transfer skills =).
