Jorbo and Mappy and the Varsoon Collections

<p>"More Adventures of Jorbo and Mappy" "Even More Adventures of Jorbo and Mappy" "The Varsoon Collection, Volume 2 - The Quest for Immortality" "The Varsoon Collection, Volume 3 - The Gift of Immortality" "The Varsoon Collection, Volume 5 - The War of Plagues" Has anyone seen these?  The first two supposedly drop in Rivervale, and the last three drop in Ruins of Varsoon.  I got the first volumes of both sets from clickables... and I got volume four of the Varsoon Collection from a friend who only vaguely remembers where they got it.  Does anyone know who they drop from?  I'm a total book fanatic, so I really want them. ;p Thanks!</p>

The Jorbo and Mappy books drop from halflings in Rivervale. Possibly from other things as well, though I've not seen one while killing lamia or nightbloods. Never seen one of the Varsoon books drop. They must be awfully rare, and/or come from specific mobs, I've spent quite a bit of time in there killing mobs for quests and level 28/29's for advanced crafting books.

<p>I got the first two - seem to be pretty common in RV. I think one is a book available in the House of Circle's at the dangerous eastern end of Rivervale.</p><p>Unfortunately they seem to be the old style, brain numbing book quests where you need to kill an insane amount of mobs <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>The Leatherfoot Tales series are great because they are actual quests for once. You get them for completing the Enchanted Lands solo quest series. I'd recommend them.</p>

<p>Yeah, I just started hte Leatherfoot Tales.  Loonngg quest though... and if I'm reading something right, there's now 2nd editions, which only makes my book-craving worse, because I want both editions! ;p Old style books don't bother me in the slightest, as long as I get a book in the end... the problem is getting them to drop.  /doh As far as the Varsoon books, my friend got her volume 4 off the little skeletons in the area with teh alchemist, so I've just been spamming them mentored when the zone is empty. So far, no luck. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Thanks for the replies!</p>
