I just returned and heard you can transfer your characters.. how is this done is there a FAQ on how to do it and the rules?

<p>Go and look at: <a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/cs/index.vm" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://eq2players.station.sony.com/cs/index.vm</a>.</p><p>Note, you cant transfer characters between PvE and PvP servers (either way), Station Exchange Servers and non-Station Exchange servers (can go from non SE to SE I believe, but not the other way round).</p><p>I think its about $50 a character, but I've never tried so this may be wrong.</p>

PvE to PvE, PvP to PvP, but not PvE to PvP. SE servers are left out in the cold. It costs 50 bucks and you cant do it if you live outside the US Im told.

For most transfers, you have to pay, however, transfering a toon to the "exchange" server, is completely free for the first one. There are times (seldomly, but it does happen) in which they have a promotional free transfer service. It has happened a few times, and who knows, might happen again before or after RoK expansion if it goes really well (new servers and space for new players).

Well that is was I was referring to I read they merged the Vek PvP with the Euro PvP ans were offering everyone a free transfer.. is this over.. or hasn't happened yet?
