The Devs changed the KOS AA Tree recently after analysing, how people spent their AA's. The typical AA Pattern for Level 70 Brawlers in the KOS Tree was int/wis/sta 4/4/8 for maximum damage. So they changed some points to make other Lines more attractive. When I check the settings of serveral top brawlers now (monks and bruisers), most (all?) went down the int/wis line and spend 4/4/8/6/1, for the same reason. The redused recast time of Crane Flock was a more or less good change for us. It gives us a slightly DPS boost, especially in long fights. But do we have really other options? Or in other words, what do you think, dear devs, did you reached your Goal to make other lines more attractive? No, imho... As a hybrid class, we should have some options to do more dps, or better tanking (agro control, mitigation), or some utility. So everybody can decide of its own, which Path to go. Just regarding his playing role. There are a lot of very long threads with good ideas in every forum, how to enhance our abilities. DPS: The currenty Crane Flock settings are a good starting point to enhance our DPS. Enhance the duration to 30sec and the amount of AoE Targets, for example. Tanking: (A lot) more uncontested Avoidance, maybe in de STA line Utility: Make some of our Spells (e.g. Tsunami, Outward Calm) group or raid-wide.

There's a huge (and I mean huge.. 600+ now) amount of posts regarding this very thing over in the Testing Feedback forum. There's some fundamental problems with brawler avoidance that needs changing... but really, in the AA department, here's the things that have been suggested. Crane Flock is fine as it is now. What we need is for Wisdom 3 to change from a fixed damage by level proc, to a chance at multiattack autoattack. What this will do is make it so it increases in damage the better the weapons we have. The main issue with a fixed-by-level damage proc is that it's not upgraded when we get Equipment Expansions, like this last one with EoF. Thus we fall behind while everyone else moves forward with the content. We are at a loss, not just compared to other people, but with expansion content that is expecting more out of our KoS AA's. Thus a 30-40% Multi-attack AA in it's place would do us wonders in AE damage AND AE Aggro control. The Strength line NEEDS to be made viable for anyone, not just a leveling brawler who wants to eschew weapons. What happens when that brawler gets decent weapons and puts lifetap procs on them or something. The line has whole sections that are utterly useless to anyone who has reached level 70 and some decent equipment. NO OTHER CLASS FACES THIS PROBLEM. Like couching said... it's almost "too good to pass up" when you don't have the greatest weapons, or will outlevel them and need to spend more again soon, and "completely useless" once you do have weapons. So what... when Epic Weapons come out, there'll be a whole line of AA's that are useless to any Brawler wishing to use his Epic? Remember.. there's going to be a Legendary version pre-raid, so everyone will have access to this, not just some hardcore few. This needs to be changed so that has benefit for a weapon using Brawler. Double attack, which multiplies with upgrading weapons, is good here still, just at a lower amount is fine. Honestly, if they want unarmed to be a feature of the class, then it needs inherent benefits built into the class OUTSIDE of AA choices. Make stances have extra benefits, or CAs do more damage unarmed, or more parries will become ripostes, etc. And it would be nice if it were treated as a dual wield in each hand, so having one weapon meant you still fought with your offhand... dunno why this would be unreasonable.
