Im thinking about starting a warlock (on a PvP server), and I was wondering if anyone has some info on the class. I dont really know anything about them except that they have nice AoE damage.

Pros, Cons, or the good ol "I wish I knew that earlier"s would be appreciated.

dunno about pvp as i do not play on one but i know that from duels i can never hit a class that has better than mastercrafted gear lol, a crit apocalypse(which should hit around 2k per tick) hits about 200 per tick =/

Look forward to dying alot. Get past that, and I'm sure you'll have a blast on a PVP server.

Warlocks are pretty much the best group PVP class out there. Solo, they're kinda...eh, because they can be pounced upon just like any other mage. But in a group scenario, with targets flying all over the screen and taunts yanking your target...a warlock can basically wipe out a group all by itself, as long as they have some backup to keep them alive.

You will get killed alot. But as you learn your class through each death it should click how a warlock should be played in pvp. I will give you one hint, you do enough damage with the spells you got. Find ways to stay alive longer and your survival chances will go up dramatically. Good Luck

Even though I dont like getting killed by you, here is what I know. Mana Shield is a god send, lets you solo pvp somewhat. Focused casting is also a god send, lets you pull spell after spell really fast. Like others said, soloing in pvp is somewhat meh, however if you can find a group to keep you alive, it is awsome.
