Are these in the game yet I see an icon in char creation but when I choose it nothing happens

Yes they are in game, have been for a month or so now.  Perhaps you didn't download the new content?  Are you on a Trial?  What happens when you click on Arasai?

No you are still restricted to binding in your own city.  But you can "betray" easily between the two evil cities or the two good cities.  Just a matter of doing a small run around talk to people quest. <a href="http://eq2i.com/articles/Category:Character_Races" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://eq2i.com/articles/Category:Character_Races</a>

I think you need to have the expansion Echoes of Faydwer before you can play an arasai too. Since they use the same models as the fae and all.

I got EoF recently and this is what I did: Installed the game and patched. Loaded and went to character creation. Saw the icon for Arasai, but upon clicking, it said that I needed additional content. I believe that there was also an option to quit the game and download that Arasai content (along with SOGA models).

Heh I'll never claim to know everything. I had just heard that somewhere else and was repeating it. I had the box set of eof shortly after I started playing so it was never an issue. Heh ahh well..so much for lookin smart. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
