Hey guys, I was hoping some of you could give me some tips on t7 pvp as a ranger. 2 Days ago I betrayed from assassin, and find myself doing better in some aspects, and getting wtfpwned by some people I used to kill al the time=P My typical pvp encounter is both my snares and all my bow shots, and cheapshot and lounging joust if they get close. Can anyone help?

My ranger is only a lowbie, so I can't comment on how to PLAY a ranger in T7, however my Troub is level 70 and fights ALOT of rangers, so here's some things I know from fighting them.

1. Get the Archer AA line. Point Blank shot is a knockback, use it when they get close.

2. Always seek the high ground, if they can't get to you, usually you'll win. I say usually, because people evac, or run out of range etc.

3. Ive noticed rangers crit ALOT, so look for a bow with a high spread/max damage. Longer delay = more chance to proc per hit.

4. One of the ranger's I've ran into a few times has focused on INT and poison damage. With the high proc chance of bows (and maybe some AAs to enhance poison?) he hits you with a poison, then snares you and sprints off. Those poisons hurt. Alot. This tactic has been severely hindered by the in-combat run-speed nerfs.

5. Sniper-shot doesn't do a huge ammount of damage for it's casting time, but it gives you a huge psychological advantage. Most people just seem to give up when they see it land. For something that doesn't do a huge ammount of damage, is easily interupted, and takes forever to cast... well people whine about it alot.

6. Ask a T7 ranger

7. Good Luck
