Hello, I'm new to SK and new to EQ2 pvp. I'm level 13 with 7 AA points (INT line going for spell crit then going for Reaver) First fight: I got taken down to half life while afk by a fury 1 level below me, then I dropped his hp below half before he killed me. (i used infernal blessing and cleave flesh.. i think i could have won this fight fairly easily if i wasn't afk for the first half of it).

Second fight is really where I don't understand. I fought a Warden 1 level higher than me, and here's how it went:

I was rooted, casted on, I ran in for melee range and used infernal blessing then cleave flesh... next thing i know, the Warden somehow sucked all of my power away. Normally these two spells cost about 1/4 of my power, but this cost 100%! I don't know how he drained it, but it dropped by half nearly instantly (i have roughly 400 hp and 400 mana). Next thing I know, the warden is hitting me with spell after spell and healing any damage I do to him. It didn't take very long for me to die. I'm sure part of this is due to gear, as he was very twinked out, and I haven't been able to afford buying better armor.

Do you have any tips? Or are wardens just one of those classes that pwn us? If so, what classes are good for anti-druid? There's too many of them on my server.

AND, in t2, wardens are severely overpowered, so get some levels and you'll be fine. And remember, mastercrafted or better to be an active pvper.

Okay, that's relieving. I thought it was odd. There's no items that reduce power like that? I guess I'll just have to keep on pushing on and getting killed in T2.. or fess up the money for gear. I'd rather save it for a nice mount though.

Am I doing everything right so far, aside from gear, from what you can tell?

Keep your blessing up at all times and cycle your lifetaps when they come up, and keep your target debuffed and you'll win most fights. As you gain levels and AAs you get even more toys to play with, such as a snare nuke, and HT (boy do people hate that one).

Awesome! thanks for all the information. I'm rolling an Armorer now to keep me more up to date, so hopefully that should help some. Harm's Touch does sound nice. If I don't feel like fighting a certain class, just hit em with that and keep going. I wish I had that v.s. Paladins in WoW..

Other fun tricks is spell reflect and divine aura.
