newbie....wis or int?

I am a lvl 12 Fury.  When I buy gear which stats should I be looking for the most.  Also, I thought druids need wis but I am reading things about int. So was I wrong in wanting to increase my wis?  The main stats that I focus on are sta, str, and wis. I didn't know i need to use int too. lol    What in your opinions is the most important. I am gonna be soloing most of the time except for hard quests etc.  I should have read other posts in here first cause I got me answer after I had posted this, but I can't see a button to delete this..disregard this post now lol

You really need both.  And stamina (or at least this is true on a PVP server).

Strength is just about useless for a fury. Don't bother with it unless you find yourself getting weighed down. Wisdom: The higher your wisdom is the higher your power and resists will be. Intelligence: The more you have the more powerful your damage spells do Stamina: The more you have the more health you have Agility: the higher your agility the less likely you are to get hit with melee attacks (they hurt alot sometimes!) Strength: the more you have the harder you hit with a weapon and affects how much you can carry. 99% of the damage you do will be with your spells. Not with your hammer or sword so Intelligence is alot more important then Strength. Here's the order of importance from most important to least important (for regular pve servers): Solo Int->Wis->Agi & Sta Grouping: Wis & Int->Sta->Agi Raid: WISDOM-> Sta->Int->Agi (strength is not listed because you really don't need it) Also only wear leather (no cloth) and use a one handed weapon with a shield, especially for solo. ateast those are my opinions heheh.

<p>depending on your gear ect... first most important stat is Wis untill you hit the soft cap then u can make adjustmnets the soft cap is 7.5 X ( Level ) + 25 = Softcap. this was changed a while ago from 5 x ( level ) + 20</p><p>Softcap means you do not benifit from the stat as much as you would before the cap EXAMPLE at level 12 your softcap would be 115 so upto the softcap u earn 10power + 5 in resists per wisdom point ( remember this is an example however the number 115 is right ) after the soft cap you may only earn 3power and +1 in resists. </p><p>So basicly what you wana do is focus on Wisdom first then Int ( with self buffs this is easy ) then focus on other stats such as Sta Agi ect... However i still use this after being WAY WAY WAY over the soft cap is 1 wis = 10p or 1 sta = 10hp so if u have 2 items 1 with 1 wis another with 30power the 30 power is better.</p>

Sorry to bump an old thread but I'm new to the game and am just learning the basics. Does int affect your healing spells in any way? What would be the best place to put my stats if I plan on raid healing. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. </blockquote><p> Like a previous poster stated...if your primary focus is going to be healing then go WIS first, with STA and INT (whichever you prefer) next.</p><p> I usually duel-box my Fury with my Monk but will occassionally raid with him as well.  In legendary gear my WIS is 475 and my INT is 443 (self buffed).  I'm usually in the caster group and don't have to do a lot of healing so I DPS a fair amount as well.  As far as I know INT does not affect your healing in any way, but makes a huge different with your damage output.  </p><p>Even if you're planning on raiding at some point, if you're just starting out and learning the basics I wouldn't worry too much about the WIS/INT difference.  I think (and I'm a 70 tailor and can't be sure..doh) that the tailored Woven gear has both <strike>WIS and INT anyway so it's perfect</strike>.  Although there is only 3-4 out of the 7 armor slots that have woven until like the 40's or 50's.</p><p>EDIT:  Sorry, checked and Woven gear is WIS/STA based.</p>

<p>Wis is important for raising your spell resists and growing your power pool.</p><p>Int is used for increasing the damage done by spells.</p><p>Sta increases your health pool.</p><p>As far as a priority goes, you should focus on getting wisdom up until such time as you hit the soft cap and start to see diminishing returns, then focus on your int and sta.  Furies get a really nice self buff that adds sta and 2 buffs that add int, so until you hit 70, those should be sufficient for you to buff yourself.  At 70, I keep my wis between 550-650 and my int goes between 750-850, because I dps a lot.</p>
