How well your class is able to engage 2 or more players with a chance of victory?

Mine after many fights i think not....as it does not have any particularry strenghtness, when is engaged by something like a caster and a dps...or a bard and a rogue, or a tank and a rogue.....any kind of combination, but my class lack on "doing enough" to keep them occupied.

I mean, as i do not have so high dps, and not so well in tanking, in short an Hybrid class, every CA used against a target is a wasting of time, as you forgot that later you have another one to fight with , and before that my CAs recast i'm already dead.

Could use fear? Fear is lvl 50 and is easy to resist...very easy, so it's useless.

Scared still...could work but, hoping the target haven't a dispel.

Maibe what my class lack is: doing CAs that decrease mitigation, interrupt target. Because 9 out 10 of our CA do just dps, and not so high, and some of them have only a little peculiarity, like the knockdown (only 3) , the proc over time (only 1), 2 fear ( one lvl 50, lol? ) and one that decrease slashing piercing and crushing.

And cause of these lacks, we die fast as we also wear leather and our avoiadance is like a Turtle that try to do Bullet Time against Agent Smith.

We are good only in 1 v 1.

And i saw other classes (excepts for hardcore healers like warden), killing a duo pretty. Ok it depends also by the equip, but basically the class is this and when it do "X things" means that is able for 1 ore more things.

How's your fights against 2 or more pvp?

as long as they are not high dps output classes or healers, I can do it on my plate classes. My necro wont last in a 2 vs 1 since I left t4/5, before that I could do it. My assassin can also do it if its 2 noobs and no plate/healers. Most important thing to pull it off is to fight 2 noobs. Hell, Ive even taken on 3 people (invoulantarily, starting with 1, having 2 adds over the course of the fight), but usually I die to those odds

Not to good. But I'm learning .

As Conjy I hope gu36 gave me more chances. Afterall we Q's are better in groupthings then Freep classes.. I guess warlocks will crowd this thread soon however.

Ow, I DID kill all in a 1 vs 5 once. Uh-Yeah!! *nods*

..but it was versus a party of wizzard bots

i have never taken more than 2 at the same time on any of my toons, and most the time i lose to duos but every once in a blue moon ill take a couple down.

All in all i may suck in pvp but i dont know it

the conjuror/Necro have problems also in 1 v 1 with few classes (but less instead of the other casters), 2 vs 1 i think they have more than a problem ^_^' ....that's just my point of view of a bruiser :o

On my assassin:

I have killed a duo on several occassions, depends on the classes and their skill. Bots groups have died but I guess they don't count.

I will always try and split them up or get them out of range of eachother.

Achieved through staying out of combat and getting one engaged and leading the other to a 1 vs 1 while the engaged enemy catches up. A tactic commonly employed by Rangers..

Snares...

Root.. (limited use as is a short duration)

Smoke bomb WIS end line ability clears their target in AE for 4 seconds, which is very handy.

Rangers and clothies go down first once the healer (if there) is out of range. If a healer is present with some kind of DPS class or tank, then its is usually game over for me and I assume anyone. Especially if the healer is good.

The rangers advantage of engaging at range I assume gives them more opportunity to kill several weaker members of a grp i.e. clothies simultaneously.

On my warden:

I have killed 2 people in T7 several times by running them out of power. Only way.

In lower tiers I have killed groups of 3-4 using this tactic, requires patience, lots of AA and good gear. I doubt it can be done now GU 36 nerf'd heals and spores.

NOTE: Lets not forget potions, cures and potion wards!

I've taken on 2 scouts and/or 2 mages at a time, but if there is a healer.... no chance.

On my troub I have taken out 3 70's at one time. Mezzed one of the scouts, charmed their tank, then killed their ranger. When the charm broke, I killed the tank, and half way through the fight the mez broke on the other scout. I sack of marbles on them both, then just finished them off by kiteing.

That was just one lucky day though...Normaly I have a hard time soloing just about any player with half way decent skill, unless I get the jump on them.

I can often times take on groups that are lower con, and duo's/Trios of even or higher cons.

Here are some of the tools I have avaliable to me to do so.

-AE Interupt w/ Chance to knockback -Daze -Root -Fear -Charm - God Spell though -Snare and Kite -Heals (via my 2 attacks) -BP of Undeath - Heals and does dmg, a must for me to take multi peeps

If my BP of undeath is up I will not hesitate to take on a group of 2 or so, even if there is a healer. I can ushally dps the healer and move on to the next. Depending on the lvl, their titles etc I may use the God spell to charm the healer and take out his support first, but it all depends, I save the god spell for must use situations. Its a pain to run into FP to my house to recharge them (im exile). Plus its on an hour timer so thats to say its even avaliable to me at the time.

BP of undeath has won me more fights than I can even count. If a scout that is post lvl 30 does not use it even through his 70s there is something seriously wrong with that person. with the click of a button you can equip it, use the ability and switch back to your normal BP, its a must have.

Undead Tide at master 1 is your friend. New tank taunt(works on scout pet also) is nice helps tons and fear, well helps when lands. I also went down the Cazic thule line so in a pinch I can charm one of the members of the group im attacking long enough to kill one. But the tide is your key, it attacks the entire group not jsut one person then remains passive. The dmg output on that spell is very steady and high. Takes a good 10 seconds to drop 2 people but its very doable. Best results when you get the jump on the group.

Had a duo monk/ranger from Purity drop me fast in SS about a week ago, went back one time and got spanked again. Left the zone. ran up to TT, found a few bots to drop, started harvesting, and here comes the same Duo from SS. This time i saw them coming, targeted the ranger, charmed him and dropp tide on the monk while fearing and taunting him with pet. Needless to say, I doubt I'll have trouble from these 2 anymore, since that Champion title one had ands General title did absolutley nothing for a duo who thought they were all that. The ranger lasted all of 5 seconds after charm dropped with snare holding tight on him, so he couldn't gt any range to use anything to save him.

Maybe I did and didn't realize it was a Heroic encounter. I've seen alot of back to back to back encounters. Manaflow FTW!

To answer the OP's question: As a monk, not very well. I avoid heroic PvP encounters like a plague.

Is this just t7 question? I engaged a x2 of grays and greens a couple months back on my 23 ranger was actually alot of fun. The only reason i even considered doing it was i noticed there was only 3 healers and they were gray con. I almost one shotted them on a crit pounce + flurry proc + normal shot and finished one with wounding arrow. others healed up and between runnin kiting though aggro that was aggro to them and not me like those wolves with snare outside gnollslayer. I think i got 6-7 of them but then a small group of yellow champs showed up to take my lucky charms so i scrammed quick. But this was when there was some population on vox =(. On naggy ive beat a few 2v1's on my sk but itsnot tough when i can change it into a 1v1 with the click of a button. And big hitter mages are the only class i have problems with on that toon.

Done some on my fury. Only when I get the jump though.

Usually ended up me nuking the [Removed for Content] out of one with energy vortex up...takes about 3-4 spells landing to kill someone like that but once they're dead it's simple because druids are kind one on one.

Although there have been times I've been severely destroyed on my fury by classes I should own..so it's all dependant upon a few key things and how well people are geared or know their class.

I've owned rangers who've gotten sniper shot off, and then I've been owned by rangers who I had in melee range but were smart and knew how to play.
