Also, it is not a 100% complete list (sometimes it hangs the system with only the mouse still moving - requireing hard reset and giving no report) I've changed directX revision versions, Video card drivers, Motherboard Bios updates, everything i can think of. All with no luck. It doesn't happen often enough to be game breaking, but is throughly frustrating to say the least. here.  Consider a download-burn of bootable memory diagnostic from www.memtest86.com/download.html (third-link down, should say <a href="http://www.memtest86.com/memtest86-3.3.iso.zip" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.memtest86.com/memtest86-3.3.iso.zip</a>)  Unzip the zip and burn the ISO, boot from the disc.  That problem kinda feels hardware-based due to the randomness of what programs are reporting faulting and a mem test will atleast tell you if your RAM is good or not.

Would a memory error show up only in games though? That is what was making me think that it wasn't a memory issue, otherwise it should show up randomly in any memory-inensive program (Photoshop for example) Or am I totally off base? I'll give that a run when I get a free block of time to devote to it and see what comes up anyway though.
