Do raids/instancs need warlocks

Do most raids/instances need or find warlocks to be useful?

As in if i Roll one will it be easy for me to get a party?

<p>Warlocks are a great class if played carefully. They do some of the most damage in the game of all classes but its AOE damage, which means "area of effect". This will attack multiple monsters at the same time and can potentially draw all agro to yourself. This can be the death of you and maybe your whole party.</p><p> Bottom line is parties can probably use warlocks to an extent if you know how to play your class, but raids mostly shy away from them in my opinion unless its a special circumstance. <p>Warlocks can be a great class to play in a group, but you need to be very concious of all the AOE's, being very carefull not to pull in adds.</p><p>Your group tank also needs to be on the ball and make sure they are pulling hate from all of the members of the target encounter.</p><p>But if you can get the group right, no other class can burn through multiple mob encounters like a warlock <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>Warlocks are in demand in a raid.  They can do massive damage on AOE mobs.  Aggro is a problem and most likely you will be paired with a Pally to help keep you alive.  Even so you will die often.</p>
