I've played WoW for a couple of years but have recently come to EQ2. It is better... However one thing that I could find easily for WoW was a census. I tried going on Google and typing Everquest 2 census but there is only one search found. And that one is kinda shabby... Does anyone know of another site that I can use?

A census by the way is a site tells you exactly how many people play a certain class and oter info. If there is another word for it IDK.

I dont think so...

Just curious: Why would one need such a thing?

If you really wanted to, you could go to www.EQ2players.com and search by class on a certain server, but you will also get people havent played in a long time.

To see exactly what race is each class. EQ2Census.com tells you how many classes and levels but it doesnt say whether on the good side or bad.

well there are only six classes shared between sides

and race doesnt really matter unless its at low levels...

hopefully you can find somthing that is similar to what your looking for.

Mostly I want to be a class that is needed... And there might be 6,000 guardians on the server but they could mostly be "good" in which case i'll role a "bad" guardian to make up for the slack.

just checked eq2census - the data would seem to be about 8-12mo old - many of my current characters are not there, but some I had almost forgotten are still listed.

I was going to say I don't think EQ2census had been updated in a while as they don't even have Fae listed as a race let alone Arasai.

In any case, good/evil doesn't make any difference in this game unless you are on a special rules server (pvp or in some cases the RP servers). On the standard servers it is not like horde/alliance with WoW. My guild is composed of quite the mixed bag of alignments. People from all cities and the occassional exile even.

You can freely interact, group, guild, raid with all people in the game regardless of allignment. The only thing you can't do is roam freely around the opposing factions' city. Though sneaking around Qeynos/Kelethin/Freeport is possible for the opposite allignments you aren't able to use vendors/banks there and some of the guards and such will be KOS to you (less true in Kelethin).

Even on the PvP servers if you are Exile you can be an 'evil' or 'good' class and group with other exiles of the opposite alignment, as it were. On regular servers Exiles have the benefit of being able to worship any deity they wish, so you could have a shadowknight that worships Mithaniel Marr, the good god of valor. There are liabilities to being exiled, of course. Haven, the home town for exiles, isn't the most convenient for travel (then again neither is Neriak) and there are some major questlines that cannot be done unless you belong to a main city. I imagine it can be confusing coming from WoW, with the segregation of Horde and Alliance. I remember when I first saw a duo of a paladin and an assassin calling out in OOC looking for more for a group, and thought how odd that was.
