AA buff to Double Dagger -- what is it?

<p>The end ability to the far right line of the Brig AA says it adds a radius reduction to double dagger.   I'm guessing that means it reduces the radius of mob aoes  -- which could be pretty darn helpful in raids depending on how it works.   </p><p> Anybody know how this thing works?  ty</p>

I dont have this skill yet but the way I understand it to work is that it just means that you can use it closer to the monster than what you could do?

The end of this line with the Malicious Assault upgrade changes the arc to the enemy mob's AE attacks. From what I have read on various forums and informations source (and I'm sure that other will be quick to correct me if I'm wrong) is that this is a way to reduce the radius of an AE attack. For example some mobs have a 360 degree AE that will hit anyone standing within a 15meter radius of them when the spell goes off (ex. Mayong Mistmoore and Wuoshi). If you use this attack with the AA buff on it it will reduce the radius of this AE spell by 30%, I believe. Which would reduce a 360 degree AE spell to only 252 degrees and thus allow his back to be open for people to do damage to him while he is still AEing at his flanks and in front... There have, however, been speculations that it is not working properly or working at all and, being as I do not have the ability myself, I cannot say that this is exactly how it works. But this is my take on it and also the information that I have obtained elsewhere...

Ok, reading back through some of the information I may have been wrong in my previous post it seems that the reduction is in distance of the radius not in the % degree that the mobs are AEing... <a href="http://www.eq2flames.com/brigands/6903-malicious-assault-update.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.eq2flames.com/brigands/6...ult-update.html</a> This thread at is from the Brigand class section and has information from people actually testing the update with their characters and has a case in which the Brigand acutally found out how much of a radius reduction it is...
