I noticed the other night there is 'Repair Material' which sells for 6g and 'Pristine Repair Material' which sells for 60g. The repair kits use 2 repair materials. Can anyone shed light on the differerce?

If I remember right, the pristine repair material is used by tinkeres to create the repair bot (aka, the raiders plat sink)

Tinkerer's, at 350, can make a bot that they can cast during a raid and it acts as a in zone mendor. The recipe is a mob drop recipe, requires 10 materials and 2 xegonites (so about 7 plat to make).

I believe it stays up for 3 or so minutes, then disappears. One cast per creation and can only be used by the Tinkerer.

The material can be bought off of any TS merchant that sells the regular fuels.

from the merchant in the tradeskill instance requires the tinkering recipe for the item (25-50p) and 350 tinkerer to make it plus a bunch of rare harvests. The product is no-trade iirc *edit what Wall said... up there ^
