Will there be a New Adventure Pack before the Rise of Kunark? Seems theres always an Adventure Pack between Expansions to fill in some Lore and a quick jolt of content =) ending in a nice x4 Raid =)

Probably not because we did just get Neriak and DLW and it was for free to everyone! But it would be nice to have some kind of event like the griffon towers in ts and nek or the spire event from kos. Although i hope the events last a good bit longer (maybe last a couple weeks or so) and that there isn't a debacle like the kos event.

I think that the developers have decided that adventure packs are not what the players want. I think things like live events and new content for free (on a smaller scale than an adventure pack) has given better results for them.

EQ2 has really turned itself around since EoF's release and is gaining new players much faster than losing them. I think any new content they release is going to be targetted at bringing more players on board rather than taking more money from existing players.

Fallen Dynasty was the last AP that SOE is gonna do. They decided it wasn't worthwhile.

It went in with LU36.

It was stated that Adventure Packs are no longer going to be release the same way that Bloodlines/Splitpaw/Ilse of Mara were.

Personally, I think I enjoy live content additions more than adventure packs that you have to pay a few more coins for. The events they do for the holidays are steps on the right track.

What I see as the perfect way to keep the game going, is to add to its storylines things that change as time goes on. For example, the return of the Gods line was a good collection of quests. The world changed as a result of them, and you had to be around when they happened to make use of them. Like was mentioned before, the Griffon tower quests were also good, but unfortunately, it locked out alot of players from actually accomplishing them. Properly implemented, all players (provided they are of the proper level) can go and do these types of live content to the extent that their guild type can do (solo, group or raid) and once the next LU comes out, the story proceeds and something else is happening in the world. This would be a great way to keep the world feeling fresh and everchanging, instead of doing those type of updates from expansion to expansion.

I always thought Adventure Packs were a bad idea, I felt like they were a rip-off. And because not everyone is going to have them, it would make finding groups for that content much harder. I like the way they're doing it now, releasing great content patches like Neriak for "free" (well you're paying 15-20 a month, so not really free) and concerntrating on large expansion packs with a new standard (EoF) Much better direction and higher standard.

I just wish they would come out with a 3-for-1 deal on the AP's so we can buy all 3 for 9.99 or something. Hardly anybody buys them anymore or uses them (especially Bloodlines). Or heck throw them out for free over the next year. Give away Bloodlines instead of doing a monthly content update and do this to each one over a year.
