I Miss My...

Rootses! *sniffle* Oh why are my rootses now gone and replaced with just plain ol' roots! It at least gave me a giggle while crafting rather than dwelling on the fact that I need a ton and a half of the blasted things. Not to mention rootses is proper Ratongan you know. *wink* So oh wise and wonderful Domino...might we have one recipe that calls for rootses? The world would be a much better place. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> -Jai Side note: but seriously as well, when did this get fixed? I totally missed anyone mentioning this.

Since that is "proper Ratongan"  ... </p><p>But, it would drive the people who read /typo crazy because you just know at least 1 person won't get the joke and will /typo it .. </p>

This one has actually come and gone, and come and gone more than once, and I suspect it was due to some script to automagically make multiples plural.  I remember being on Test when it hit for the first time, many months ago, and having several folks in stitches (including a QA person) over the "rooteseseseses" as I started calling them.  Several of the typos were fixed, only for some to reappear a while later. Personally, I think that some ratonga got into the recipes, and made lots of "rootses" typo issues as a protest when cheesecake left the lands.  Now that the cheescake is back we're back to slightly more proper Common for our recipes.

Just like EQLive Snakes used to "kick", I actually miss now that EQ2 snakes can no longer "Shield Bash". ^_^ Gotta love attack spoofs... I wonder if any other "mis-attacks" are still in game...

I'm all for provisioners getting more quested recipes. Maybe some of those roekillik ratongas could give a quest for a recipe requiring "rootses". That would be hilarious. I also miss "You gather a 1 stick" and things like that. HA!
