I am fairly new to the game, and was starting to get into a good groove of being able to mez and charm mobs, and intentionally canceling a mez as needed to break it prematurely, same with the charm effect. Also, I would have all of my mezzes that I had active on my spell bar so I could see how close some were to breaking. Now, I can no longer cancel mez, and the effects only show on the mobs themselves? This doesn't seem like a good change, was this planned?

My first thought, and this is only a guess, but was click through on that particular window inadvertantly enabled?

I thought it had to be something I had accidently changed, but tried it both ways, with no change. I can cancel my self buffs that show up in my spell area, but charm can no longer be canceled, and the mezzes don't even show up there now :/

Should still be able to cancel charm by either:

1. Clicking the spell icon for charm in your toolbar itself (this is like a toggle effect, if charm is already on it turns it off)

2. Dismiss pet command in the pet window.

Hmm, but I wonder if it is the right window you are looking at. One is a buffs window - which is just personal buffs on you, and another is the maintained effects window. The two can be a little confusing, but I know mezzes won't show up in the personal buff window.

Yes, I am pretty sure that is it... would fix both problems I had been experiencing, odd thing is, now I can't find the maintained spell effects window lol... will have to look at settings for a bit ... Thanks, maybe just a misplaced window.. that wouldn't be bad at all lol
