new to EQ2 from Vangyard and playing necro. Great game play. I have necro at lvl 25 and wander how to name my pets. I've seen others with player made names but I only seem to get the computer choice names and they suck. Anyone out there to help? Thanks

type /petname
and the next pet you conjure will have that name. However All the pets you conjure will have that name until you /petname <Anothername> You can also have pets of different names at the same time if you use the pet name command between each cast with a different name. Some pets however, such as the "a baby owlbear" cannot have a different name. - Katsi

I recently made a conjuror and I made a macro for each pet summon spell which I use to summon pets rather than using the spell itself.

I set up a command line with /petname (name) and then set up the summon spell.....I even added a third line and my character would /say "Come to me (name)" or something similar.

In end game most people use their character name for their pet name so they can add it to their dps parse.
