After listening to you guys saying that monks can't MT EoF epics. I decided to ask a few platetanks in game. A 70 zerker and 70 Guard i was chatting to - basically confirmed, BUT both mentioned they had heard there is ONE monk on Nagafen who does quite regularly MT endgame EoF raid MOBs. The discussion was just before i went to bed and i forgot to ask who this mystery monk was.....anyone know?? (Nagafen server)

(Nagafen server)
Monk can MT EoF raid or not didn't mean anything since we have less mitigations, less uncontested avoidance and less aggro control comparing to plate tanks. We have to tank orange epics in defensive stance since we have ZERO uncontested avoidance in offensive stance. However, most plate tanks can tank orange epics including avatars (hardest mobs in game) in game in offensive stance since they have same uncontested avoidance no matter in offensive or defensive stance. Also, even we are in defensive stance, we have only 16% uncontested avoidance and plate tank can have (19% from tower shield, 1% from shield adornment, 4% from wrist adornment, 5% from SoD rewards, 5% from hate bp) 34% uncontested avoidance. See, plate tank has average 10% mitigation advantage ahead of leather tank when both tanks are in defensive stance and double uncontested avoidance than us. So whether monk can or not tank in any rais is pointless. They are by far better.
