View Full Version : Digital Download Owned?

Hey guys, I have been away from the game for over an year and I am now back in full force. Before I left the I bought DoF and KoS through Digital Download. However, I have a new computer now and installed my original EQ2 game onto it. I have access to all the features listed for each expansion but now to the real question. What on earth will happen when I try to go the the zones in those expansions? I do not have the install files for the digital downloads anymore. How will I get those again? What to do? Panic! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Thanks in advance.

You just have to make sure EQ2 is set to download expansions.  It will of course take longer to download everything, but it will do it.  Afterwords you will be fine. Just a thought though, I have done Digital downloads as well and I ended up buying the Boxed EoF set just to be able to install most of the game fresh.  Since EoF includes all the previous expansions it is a nice thing to have as backup so you don't have to download digitally most of the game.

Yeah. I came back and opened a new account with the EQ2 all in one, and burned my install file to a dvd.  It makes it a LOT easier when you don't have to download everything all over again.

I just ordered the 3 in all pack as well. Its so cheap anyways <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I just purchased EoF DD. However, I cannot find any instructions on how to download it. I have been searching for hours now. Can you please help

Can you please help</blockquote> If you bought it from Sony your account is already flaged as EoF enabled and the next time you launch the game it will download that date. However, the Sony Store version DOES NOT include any other expaintions or the base game, if you need/want either of these you need to get them from Direct 2 Drive or some other retailer. The nice thing is once you can prove you bought the retail version the SoE CS dept will refund you the money you spend at the station store.
